Everything about stay was amazing!!! Loved the ambience and interiors. Rooms were cozy. Super clean. Breakfast was great and least to mention, Laurie was an amazing host.

This is a very special place! The historical home combined with great attention to details and friendly service makes this a unique visit! Breakfast is excellentl and the setting in the winter garden wonderful. Shelley, the hostess, tends to all your needs and serves delicious eggs for breakfast!

We liked everything ! Drew and Shelly are very helpful and the house is amazing, historic art everywhere and the breakfast is made to order and yummy. We'd definitely go back!

Terrific job helping us host a family event. The suites at the Dempsey House were perfect for our group, and the parts of the Inn where we hosted our reception were beautiful. The food was great! Drew and Shelly were very easy to work with.

This was a combo work and relaxation trip, and the Benn Conger really delivered. We used it as a base for work-related visits in the area. It also has an ideal location for exploring waterfalls, wineries and more. We were greeted by Shelley, a manager who welcomed us, answered many questions, made and served delicious breakfasts and greatly enhanced our stay. Our suite was spacious and quiet. It had a fridge, microwave and keurig. Outside our suite was a large siting area and window seat. The Benn Conger is a place that makes you feel at home, if home is a multi-room mansion! It’s not pretentious; in fact, it’s quite cozy. Fun fact-Groton was the home of the Smith-Corona typewriter factory. The BC Inn celebrates this by having vintage typewriters displayed throughout. Check out the local antique stores, delicious bakery, Bun Appetite, local provisions, Good Neighbor—heck, even the Groton library is terrific!

Hieno vanha rakennus. Paikka oli viihtyisä ja tunnelmallinen, henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli hyvä.

My husband and I traveled from New Hampshire to attend a wedding in Groton, and we were delighted to find weekend availability at the Benn Conger Inn, where we stayed in the beautiful Dutchman Suite. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by manager Shelly, who made us feel immediately at home. Our suite was immaculate, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed provided a wonderful night’s sleep, and despite the inn being fully occupied, the historic home was remarkably quiet and peaceful. Each morning’s breakfast was outstanding, featuring cooked-to-order eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, pastries, and on our second morning, a delicious Quiche Lorraine that was truly memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Shelly, Drew, and owner Chris for making our weekend stay so special. Their hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference, and we would gladly return again.
