Benn Conger Inn

The Benn Conger Inn is just a short drive from Ithaca , Cortland , Homer and less than an hour to Syracuse . The rooms are very clean and decorated to make you feel cozy , comfortable and very relaxed especially with the jetted garden tubs and gas fireplace features . Many rooms have french doors leading to a lovlie quiet porch over looking the greenery of the property . I have stayed at the Benn Conger 7 times now and find it to be very reasonably priced . Breakfast made by Shelly the Inn Keeper is always a treat . Shelly and Drew are always helpful with any questions we have and have been known to take you on a tour of the Main House if it iant too busy . I already can't wait to go back .

We stayed two nights at this beautiful estate inn, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Shelley, the concierge, who is truly the heart and soul of this one-of-a-kind place. She personally introduced herself, gave us a tour of the property, and made sure we felt right at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a delightful spread for breakfast—fresh fruit, muffins, warm cinnamon bread, and a variety of egg options, all beautifully prepared and delicious. The inn itself is decorated majestically, with elegant paintings, unique artwork, and antique furniture that gives it a charming Victorian feel. Our room was no exception—beautifully appointed with vintage touches, comfortable beds, and kept impeccably clean. Between the exceptional service, the enchanting atmosphere, and the overall comfort, I truly wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting the area again.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth, and the level of care throughout the stay was exceptional. Everything was arranged smoothly and thoughtfully, with easy access to the rooms and great attention to detail to ensure comfort and convenience at all times. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, and generously prepared — and the Cinnabon was simply the best we’ve ever had, a highlight we still talk about. It added a special, personal touch that made the mornings unforgettable. The landscaping and interior decoration of the inn are extremely unique, beautifully maintained, and full of charm, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere both inside and outside the property. Overall, Ben Conger Inn was a unique and carefully chosen place to stay, offering comfort, authenticity, and outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience.
