The Old Colliery Stables

Breakfast was brilliant in the Royal Oak and the evening meal superb, great value for money, the young Chef was Dylan and he has a real flare. Location was superb, across the road a fab woodland walk and with our dog, perfect.

Need hooks on the en-suite door for clothes etc and an additional shelf in there would be very useful

Lovely staff & fellow guests. Warm, friendly, helpful. Brilliant breakfast.

Poor water pressure on shower & toilet. Shower temperature difficult to regulate. ?sink blocked - took ages to drain away. Bathroom fan permanently on & creaking/knocking noises from pipes/walls throughout night made restless sleep!

Really lovely room, very clean, more amenities than expected, bed was comfy. All in a very good stay

Curtains weren't the best at keeping light out in the morning but not a major issue

A lovely place to stay in a small village. The owners were friendly and helpful. The food at the Royal Oak Inn was delicious.

Could have a full length mirror in the room.

The actual needs updating and repairing. There was mould in shower and the sink and tap wasn’t fitted properly

Clean, good shower, bottles of water and tea making facilities! A good price booked last minute.

For the price it was good value.
