Was not far from Durham . And beamish museum. Get what you pay for. had fridge microwave . Sink was blocked . Shower drain and toilet seat wobbly

Great location! Room was comfortable and a good size. Breakfast excellent - great gluten free options too which was so helpful.

The property was great value for money. It was clean & tidy. It was a stones throw away from pub The Royal Oak which served fantastic fresh home cooked meals. The portions were a very good size and the prices were even better. All meals tried were hot and very tasty. The bar had several locals in who were all very pleasant and made you feel welcome. We stayed here for 2 nights and visited beamish museum over 2 days. It was an easy drive to the museum. Chosen for the fab food reviews and we weren’t let down.

There isn’t much around the property but as a base was excellent value for money.

Rather run down. A really unpleasant smell in the room with lots of strong air fresheners. I couldn't have slept there.

The host was happy and attentive to our needs. Very easy to talk to and very helpful.

Very friendly staff Room basic but clean and great for quick trip Lucky had sunshine in evening so ate outside front of pub Evening food and breakfast great quality and value for money Dog friendly she was allowed in pub and breakfast room and even got her own sausages in a bowl for breakfadt

Tea and coffee etc provided but no soap/short gel which wasn’t a problem for us but just useful to know
