Hotel Don Ernesto By La Chimba

The bed was very comfy. Wifi was good. Shower & bath were lovely. Breakfast was nice. The pool had lots of seating. It looked like there was a trail & other things below the hotel, but no information other than it being $10 for transport to them.

The bathroom has no door and the toilet is visible from the bed and most of the room. 500ml bottled water for sale in the room $2 each. We asked if we could drink the water from the tap, but were told it wasn't recommended as it could be weird in CR, but were also told it was safe. We were on the last day of our 3 week holiday, and had been able to drink the tap water, all but one place. We just didn't feel welcome. It's hard to explsin, maybe just not enough information e.g dinner was at 7pm, had to book by 6pm but no menu or price information in the room or on the website. At breakfast no menu & difficult to understand the server, even though my husband speaks good basic Spanish. We received meat although we are vegetarian. We asked for water but didn't receive any. A fridge and kettle in the room would be useful.

La habitacion se cierran con candado al menos en la que estaba, y el cuarto es de buen tamaño pero muy mal distribuido

Beautiful place! Friendly staff! Great breakfast! Only thing rooms don’t have ac , have mold smells like basement and if you need to open windows no screens so bugs fly in.

Todo fue maravilloso! La pasamos muy bien, nos sirvieron un desayuno típico y demasiado basto. El personal fue fantástico

Очень прикольная атмосфера)) Особенные если Вы с любимым человеком! Уверен что каждый найдет много шуток про эти домики в стиле какого то средневековья )) Мне кажется там было бы классно снимать фильмы про маньяков)) Хороший вид из бассейна.

Очень сыро. Я понимаю что они в стиле максимальной приближенной к природе. Но хотелось бы что бы не пахло так сыростью.
