The staff in the restaurant were very condescending to us. We were a group in our 60s and there were 12 of us. After the male bartender/waiter was nasty to one of the ladies in our group (he said some very nasty things) we chose to leave and not eat dinner or breakfast the following morning before we left. I grew up in this business and know the ins and outs of this and you never talk to patrons the way we were spoken to.

Restaurant was wonderful and so convenient to lodging; quiet; staff was friendly and helpful; we ate breakfast and dinner every day and all meals were delicious. Hubby said margaritas were excellent. We stayed in cabin 8 and everything was clean and comfortable; the only minor suggestion I have is to put a reading lamp with a larger bulb next to reading chair! Dusting the interior logs annually would also be a good idea. Bathroom was spotless!

Stunning location. Peaceful, lots of hiking trails and hit springs.

The lodge is comfortable and great food at the restaurant. WiFi only in the lodge not the rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful surroundings. We had a rustic cabin with shared bathrooms and the bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling.

It's a beautiful, well maintained charming resort. They are very dog friendly. My dog had dinner and breakfast with me on the lovely deck. The waitstaff brought her a water bowl. The food and drinks were yummy.

Cabin was built in the 30s. Shared bathroom only. Food in the kitchen was mediocre.

Beautiful property, comfortable and clean

We loved our rustic cabin - it was cozy and comfy and just the right size for two people. The shower house and restroom were nearby and were clean. The staff here was wonderful. We ate at the lodge restaurant for breakfast and dinner each day and enjoyed the variety of meals offered. You might have to wait a little while for your food at times, but it will come out hot and good.

I wish the lodge restaurant opened a little earlier on weekdays (it opened at 8 am M-F and 7 am on Sat and Sun).
