Wilde Aparthotels Manchester City Centre

I stayed in a 1 bed apartment and it was so modern and had lovely decor. There were 3 of us sharing so 2 people in the single beds and 1 on the sofa bed and it felt nice and private and not cramped in like some places. The location was fab right next to St Peters Square with trams to take you wherever you need to go. Lots of restaurants and shops all within a couple of minutes walk.

The bathroom smelt of bad sewers throughout our stay and it was pretty strong too. I didn't report it as we only stayed 1 night but if it had been for longer I would have asked to be moved. Also my friend said that the sofa bed was very lumpy and you could feel the metal bars underneath it and the mattress wasn't thick enough. Maybe mattress toppers could help with this as I believe that over £200 for a night warrants a really good sleep and only 2 out of 3 of us managed that. The single beds can be pushed together on wheels to make a double but that meant if you sat on them in the wrong angle it moved slightly and the mattress slid off a bit too. Some breaks on the bed would solve part of that problem really.

The staff were friendly and it was fairly clean.

We could hear next door’s shower running and it woke us up in the morning. There was no air conditioning or even the option to open the window so it was like being in an oven at night!

Spacious room, big bed, well equipped kitchen, nice coffee maker, full sized fridge with milk included in nice bottles.

Need a small bedside table on the other side of the bed
