Star Land Hotel Bastos

A new hotel that meets all standards. Staff was super friendly and competent. Breakfast could do better and offer more variety, but overall excellent Hotel in Yaounde!

Just lovely. Best hotel in the city. Have been to both Douala and Yaoundé Star Land You will love it Exciting and rich buffet Large rooms, pillows and beds guarantee your sleep Genuinely nice people. All customers keep smiling They even called me for my Rolex watch I left behind Am recommending 300% and WILL go back to Star Land Thanks Star Land

Excellent hotel in Yaounde - highly recommend. The service was great, the rooms are functional, clean and finished well, and the wifi is reliable. The food is also very good and the coffee shop is a lovely place to have your morning coffee or an afternoon tea and cake!

Attentive staff. Food was really good. I often came back late at night and even though restaurant was closing, they were very amendable to provide me with tasty meals. Thank you for the experience.

Arrived late. Person behind the desk wanted to charge me a late fee lol. Never heard of a late fee for checking in a midnight on a prepaid reservation. Then, they added tax to my prepaid Expedia purchase. Never a smile. I think they took advantage of me. I’ll never return again.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good food, noisy location, decent rooms, limited lounge facility with few chairs on the reception level. The massive security airport luggage scanner at the entrance is an eyesore.

Liked my stay exceot that you have to purchase toothpaste for your peesonal use.

I would have given this a 10/10. However the suite next to mine had guests singing from 4-6am (I could hear every single word). No toothbrushes provided by housecleaning. You’ll have to request toothbrushes daily from reception (who are always very kind to provide you with those).
