Your Apartment Clifton House

Average. Did not like being in the basement. Room had bad lighting, making it dingy and difficult to read. On second night we were given access to a co working space ( brilliant) because I was finding it very difficult to do any work, but told it was only available during office hours, which was pointless. As I needed to work in the evening.

Everything we needed in a lovely comfortable apartment. Would definately book again.

I booked my stay Showed up to check in 1pm No one there Ended up going to the marriott Expedia is avoiding speaking to me I am now over $1000 feet n loss Perhaps the communicate with me???

We booked what looked like a really nice Design Apartment with plenty of space, a sofa bed, and a table and four chairs. On arrival we discovered we had been allocated a tiny studio room (couldn't even get round to one side of the bed) with barely room for two to sit at the table squeezed into the space at the bottom of the bed. We had booked and paid for the Design Apartment so we could host a family celebratory evening meal. Ruined the entire point of staying there. I phoned up straight away and was told this is what we had booked. It wasn't. I have sent them the receipt showing clearly 'Design Apartment'. All other apartments were taken so we couldn't be moved anyway. We were really upset - been planning the meal for over a month. In addition to that, there was fungus growing in a patch on the ceiling, which was gross (see photo). There was only one bath towel and one hand towel between the two of us, so one of us had to dry with a wet towel after showering. The shower drain was blocked so dirty water (someone else's?) backed up into the shower while using it. The toilet paper was the cheapest single ply you can buy. At least the kitchen area and the bedding were clean. But we paid over the odds for 2 nights for this thinking it would be a really special graduation event. So upsetting. Never again.

Wonderful. Would come back in a flash. Only tiny point - no tea bags!

Easy check in, all done via email. Flay as described small but fine for one person or a couple. Well equipped. Great location. Parking which is hard to fine in Bristol.
