Hotel Tara Machupicchu

We have a one night over and we would like to THANK YOU Alcides for his kindness... He was very welcoming ans give us good tips for the rest of our the trip in Peru :-) The room was big and clean... We have had hot water which nice too. The breakfast was generous.

Staff is very helpful if the customer has any issues. The room is spacious.

The Hotel is in an awesome location, its amenities are all good, great place to start your historical trip to Machu Pichu. Most of all is the reception and attention you will get, we were well taken care of by “ALCIDES” from our check in to all we needed. He’s advice is very invaluable for us having a great and fun time in Machu Pichu and the town of Aqua Caliente. Highly recommend the Hotel specially with Staff like Alcides. For Families, couples and first timer visiting Alcides is a big help

Doña Clo was kind enough, sympathy in person getting us at the train station in person and leading us to a charming and ample room. Mr Jack at the front desk was very kind as well. Person wide the place is perfect! Trouble is we had a hard time getting a hot shower the night before our trip to Machu Picchu. We were told to wait at least two minutes and eventually we got hot water. Unfortunately the next morning we waited more than ten minutes to no avail which seems to be an oxymoron: no hot water in a lovely place called hot water in Spanish. Were it not for the lack of hot water for my Lady (I am a southern man who loves near 0 water; she is from warmer climates) it would have been a great experience. We leave an honest review as an incentive to the owners to fix that and by respect to travelers who will read this. Long live and prosper.

We had a great time. The guys are the best. Always very helpful at any time, the breakfasts are the best and always ready when you need them and every time we were back the room was immaculate... thanks for all the help and recommendations Dany, Liz, Clotilde and Jack...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tara Hotel, where Omar's exceptional hospitality truly made our stay special. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the spacious rooms were a delight. The duvet was particularly cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Overall, the hotel's warm atmosphere and excellent service made for a memorable experience.

This was a great experience from arrival to departure. Friendly reception, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff made sure all are needs were met. My husband was not feeling well and they followed up a few times to make sure he was feeling better. This is well over and above of what is expected.
