Our stay at Stagione Hakone Gora East was truly enjoyable. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and efficient, making it easy to get settled in. The staff, although only available online, were exceptionally friendly and responsive. Any questions or requests we had were addressed promptly, and they also provided great recommendations for local tourist spots. The property itself was perfect for our group of four. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions, and the facilities were more than adequate. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, so we had no trouble streaming Netflix or browsing. Additionally, the property has a washing machine, which was very convenient, and a kitchen if we wanted to cook during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

Remarks for Stagione Hakone Gora East: We enjoyed our stay at Stagione Hakone Gora East, but there are a few points that future guests may want to keep in mind: Shop Closing Hours: All the shops around the area close quite early, which can make it challenging to find food for dinner. It’s best to plan ahead and make sure you have enough food prepared for breakfast. 7-Eleven Walk: If you're thinking of heading to the nearby 7-Eleven, be aware that the walk up the hill can be quite exhausting. It’s not ideal for grabbing a quick snack or meal. Please consider bringing food in advance or arranging meals beforehand to avoid this challenge. Room Cleaning: A simple room cleaning during the stay would have been appreciated, especially for a 3-day, 2-night visit. It would have made the experience feel a bit more comfortable. Tower Change (Individual Opinion): A towel change during the stay would be a nice touch, although this is just a personal suggestion. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but these little things could help improve the experience for future guests. Thank you!

Everything!!! It was amazing the location is 3 minutes walking from the station and the feeling of staying in an apartment with such a nice Japanese ambiance was Everything. I want to go back just to stay a month in that apartment and relax.

Very near Gora Station

Wasnt clean well before we arrive. I vacuumed a ball of dust and hair from the 1F room

The front door was locked via a passcode which gave us flexibility in the group. The house was located just a few minutes from Gora Station and had a great access to all near attractions. The house had 2 toilets and great facilities when it came to cooking or the bathroom. The TV had Netflix, Youtube and more.

The washing machine didn't work properely. It didn't really dry our clothes. All the restaurants and shops in the area close really early and there is no convenient store in reach. The futon beds were located on the top floor. This means that you couldn't even stand up.

We enjoyed this place. It’s in a really good location and is a very short walk to Gora station. From Gora it’s easy to get the cable car and ropeways to the lake. It was really spacious and homely and such a nice mountain retreat to be in for a few days.

The tatami mats aren’t super comfy if you’re used to a comfortable mattress.

Convenient location to Gora station

Can be noisy sometimes. The footsteps and voice of talking from another suite is clear. Also the address is 763 not 45, which is wrong on booking.

Gorgeous house, very clean and easy to access. Train station 2 minute walk away. Tram 2 min walk away which is a must. We only stayed 1 night but another day would have been find to explore the area.

The area closes around 5/6pm so not much to do. We found a lovely restaurant and brewery/pizza place so definitely go there. But apart from that, it was an early night.
