AC Hotel by Marriott St Louis Chesterfield

My stay was quiet, clean and comfortable. I felt so safe and considered as a guest by staff. The lobby and my room interior felt welcoming and refreshing. So glad I chose to stay at this location—will visit again.

If you want a nice, new modern interior, pretty good gym, but can handle noise in your room and poor customer service this place is for you. You need to understand, which we didn't, that every room has a very large AC unit in every single room that is noisy. In addition, it is on top of a very busy, large highway. You can't get away from that. We were also in a room that when the ac unit kicked off, there was an additional mechanical unit somewhere nearby that also ran very loudly. When we called the front desk to move rooms after discovering this the first night I got a "sigh" and was put on a forever hold. Hung up, went in person to front desk with our bags packed as we had two more nights. The person whom I believe hung up on me and didn't call back wanted to argue there was nothing else to move to that would be different. It took a long time while he and another person (seemingly a manager) begrudgingly looked and looked. We were handed new room keys with an attitude and no apology for any inconvenience. Not that it should matter at all, but we are also Gold Members. Despite what he said, the room was quieter. Further away from highway and whatever the other mechanical noise was however the AC unit was the same. We did not experience a cleanliness issue in either room. Bartenders were fantastic. Other front desk personnel were mediocre at best. There is definitely a management issue. These people should not be working in customer service.

After a terrible experience at a different hotel our 1 night at AC by Marriott was glorious! It pays to go to a more expensive hotel that doesn’t have a shoe string staff running it. It was extremely clean, bed was so comfortable and it was quiet.

I found myself in Chesterfield on short notice for a quick overnight business trip, and the AC Hotel delivered exactly what I needed — and then some. This is a newer property with all the signature AC touches I’ve come to expect: stylish, minimalistic comfort paired with practical, well-thought-out amenities. Check-in was prompt, professional, and downright pleasant — just the kind of welcome a weary business traveler hopes for. The hotel itself was spotless and quietly refined, with that crisp, modern aesthetic AC Hotels are known for. It’s the kind of clean that feels both inviting and intentional. One added bonus. The hotel shares a parking lot with a newer Ruth’s Chris Steak House. After a long day of travel and meetings, the convenience of walking across the lot for a solid steak dinner didn’t go unnoticed. All in all, this was a great value for a mid-range business hotel. No hiccups, no compromises: just a solid, comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time business brings me through St. Louis.

Property felt and looked like it was brand new and staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Stay was good

This hotel was fabulous! Clean, quiet , front desk staff was excellent. Asked for a late check out , no questions asked. Beds were super comfy, shower head was amazing. Lighting underneath cabinets in room made quite the ambiance. Next time we are on the area, we will definitely stay here again.
