AC Hotel by Marriott St Louis Chesterfield

I recently stayed at this hotel with my mother on January 31st, and while the hotel itself is visually stunning, our experience was incredibly frustrating due to unresolved maintenance issues. Upon check-in, we were given Room 220, but after a long day of travel, I discovered that the shower never produced hot water. The front desk associate, Justin, was incredibly helpful and moved us to Room 225 so I could shower. Unfortunately, while the water was slightly warmer in that room, the air conditioning did not work at all. After running it for an hour, the room was even hotter than when we arrived. I am attaching the picture where I had it on 67 degrees but it was still 76 in the room. Once again, Justin did his best to assist us and moved us back to Room 220 so we could at least sleep in a room with working AC, even though it meant sacrificing hot water. The next morning, my mother attempted to shower, and sure enough, there was still no hot water. After doing some research, I found that numerous guests have complained about the same issue, yet management has failed to properly address it. As a Marriott Lifetime member with hundreds of stays, I can confidently say that this ranks among my worst three experiences. The only saving grace was Justin at the front desk—he was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. However, management dropped the ball. He assured me he would escalate our concerns, but I had to follow up myself because my complaint was forgotten. They eventually issued me 10,000 points, but given the extent of the issues and the fact that this is an ongoing problem, it feels like an inadequate resolution. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that hot water may not be guaranteed, and management does not seem eager to fix the problem. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel. We even checked out a day earlier and moved to a different hotel.

Hanna at the front desk was an absolute G. We loved her. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much for the late check-out. Hotel was quiet, clean and updated.

The property is very clean and modern. The staff is very attentive.

Location access was excellent. Great and safe location. Free parking, eatery on site. Quit hotel and traffic. Decor was nicely appointed. Very spacious near other entities. The room was nicely appointed.

We stayed at the AC Chesterfield while visiting family for Christmas. It seems fairly new and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our bed was very comfortable, but we didn't sleep all that well due to the loud road noise. We wished we had brought a white-noise machine. We did have a cocktail at the bar each evening, and the bartenders were great. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
