The Editory Riverside Hotel, an Historic Hotel

We had two different bookings for this hotel. The first room was larger and faced the inner courtyard/train station. This room was actually much better than the sea view room we booked for my parents. The bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent, and the room was big enough. (Parents room with sea view was too tiny and they weren't very comfortable).

The small rooms are too small. Also, the hotel has limited spaces to linger if you're waiting for someone or you just want to wander from your room. The only spaces we saw were the lobby and the train station waiting area (which is reserved for hotel guests, however, the train station smell isn't for everyone).

Da vista incrível pro rio Tejo ; a facilidade de estar dentro da estação de metrô Apolónia ; os staffs maravilhosos que eles têm ( desde as camareiras brasileiras educadíssimas e gentis nos auxiliando em tudo até no café da manhã e recepção)

Por ser uma estação e antigos escritórios os quartos são um pouco menores do que estamos acostumados mas nós adaptamos logo porque tem um janelão pro rio Tejo em que apreciamos o luar e a lua cheia lindíssima e muitos barcos e navios chegando e partindo .

Location, location, location. We stayed here to catch the train the next day and it would have worked if the train had come. The room was not large, but it was very comfortable. The breakfast was not cheap but was an excellent smorgasbord.

Reception staff less than friendly. Barely did their job, and certainly not engaging. The young man on the door was lovely and said hullo with a smile every time.

Stunning Views and Exceptional Service

The staff was very friendly/helpful. The buffet breakfast was great. The atmosphere inside the hotel was very cool... love the design of the common areas.

Only drawback is that although there is charm of it being at the train station, with that comes some sketchy people and not so clean areas just outside the hotel....
