Lovely room.

Staff were quite brittle and unfriendly. When we arrived there was no hello/welcome by the bar staff that I had approached and we were referred to as “check ins”. Jack was the only friendly member of staff who we came across.

We loved all the extra niceties in the room, from shortbread to dry robes! Coffee machine, Dyson fan, dog goodies, OS map, and lovely toiletries. Fresh milk and a mini bar. The breakfast was delicious too!

We were woken at 2am by the fire alarm and all had to vacate our rooms!! They weren’t sure why but suspected someone was smoking 🙄

Delicious breakfast. Delightful doggie bag with ball and treats for my dog. Handy parking. Comfortable bed

Slightly noisy room at the back of the hotel as window open as very warm.

Family room was amazing! Great size and separate bedroom for kids. Beautifully decorated and huge comfy beds. Lovely extras of buckets and space in the rooms for kids to use at the beach. And lovely books for kids to read to. Dinner was delicious and breakfast fantastic! We’ll be back!

Excellent room and facilities, restaurant fodd and service very good along with the best location.

De kamers waren erg netjes en schoon. Behalve van de voordeur tot de hal en het peper en zoutvaatje waren niet om aan te raken.

Perfect for our visit, meeting up with friends, wife birthplace and when first met. Diner at Idle Rock and Tresanton when both of us worked 55 years ago
