Its position

The stairs up to the top floor bedroom were very very steep and narrow, a bit of a struggle for OAP’s. The chef broke his leg we therefore were told there would not be any cooked breakfast. Should have hired an agency chef in my opinion.

It has a great centeral location, the decor is very smart and the bed was very comfortable and large.

There were a few maintance issues with our room (missing tiles etc), really poor communication from staff - no information about when/where breakfast would be, very relaxed attitude to GDPR compliance and you can hear the pub downstairs. Contential breakfast was some cheap supermarket crossiants and a few pots of yoghurt - not worth it when there are so many good coffee shops in town.

Location was perfect & such a lovely old building. All the staff were exceptional, so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The room as lovely, clean & comfortable. We also ate here for dinner, food was lovely and plenty of choice. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a shame they did not have a breakfast chef working but the refund was appreciated.
