Very likeable team, nicely located

It was on the sea front

Not as nice as reviews stated. We booked it at a last minute discount, so it was just acceptable. Would struggle to justify full price of £265 a night. We didn’t get the breakfast as no chef available- appreciate he was off sick but expect a back up chef. This was disappointing as it was a selling point. The bathroom was tatty and needs a revamp. You had to go up a side entrance that wasn’t very pleasant to enter the room. Depends what you want - but I wouldn’t return.

The hotel was lovely and food was amazing.

The room in the description/pictures that we booked was not given to us. This was very disappointing as the only reason we book that room was to have a bath but was given a smaller room with a shower. When asked I was told that the room when booked on booking.com show and describes all the rooms at that rate and that room is given to whoever checks in first... this did feel like false advertising as not just the pictures but even the description was a vaulted ceiling room with bath.
