Madison Square

We stayed one night passing through.

I did not initially find the email with the door code, but when I did find it, the code did not work. Only after I was on the phone with Expedia for more than an hour and they gave me the same code did I decide to find another hotel and checked in with my cat. When I finally settled in, I discovered a text telling me that the code had been changed. I had been driving all day and did not find that text. The location of the property is right next to I40. As I never got inside, I cannot comment on the quality of the property. But I will never book a property without a front desk after this experience. I had no phone number to call Expedia was no help. Perhaps if I had discovered the text message sent 2 hours before I was scheduled to arrive I might have succeeded in checking in.

I would use this property again. Easy to get on and off of I40.

We enjoyed the property; very well kept; convenient; and a very good price. The owners, obviously, care for guests and the property and it shows. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Nice place at a decent price. Good location, close to everything in Amarillo. Unit in good condition. I wasn’t bothered by the highway noise but it does get pretty loud. Nicely equipped kitchen. Nothing luxurious or fancy but I think I got a good value for the price paid. Clean, with all amenities.

The apartment was overall clean and tidy, but the floors were so sticky I thought my shoe was going to come off my foot. I checked my shoes to ensure I did not bring anything in from the outside. So much so that walking barefoot in the apartment for about 5 minutes left the bottom of my feet completely black. The biggest problem was communication. When we arrived and used the code that was emailed to entire the room, everything was great. We unpacked and decided to go grab dinner. When we got back to the room after dinner, the code to the room did not work. We attempted multiple times with no luck. I attempted to find a phone number or an email address for the owners or the property managers, but found no email address and the only phone number listed was just a bunch of 5’s. We had to call Hotels.com support, and even they were not able to get ahold of the owners. I had to go through another website and create a fake inquiry about the property just to get a response. When I finally got a response from a property manager, we were told that our payment did not go through. I fully understand that non-payment should not result in us being able to stay in the room, BUT THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO US BEFORE WE WERE EVEN ABLE TO ENTER THE ROOM. We were stranded outside of the room with all of our belongings already in the room. I had no problem with paying the room and would never try to get away with not paying, but it should have been communicated sooner instead of locking us o

Got in late and our code didn’t work, but one quick text and we were in. Super cute, cozy apartment. Was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay during our road trip! Thank you for the memories!!!
