Sea-Hi Beachside Apartment

Location was great!

The cleanliness was something that needs improvement. Dust everywhere, especially in the bathroom blinds. Looks like they had never been cleaned. It stated that there were staples to get you started. There was no milk, or coffee available. only tea bags or sugar. Not even simple things like cling film, or non stick spray to cook with. Understand that the location is opposite the beach, however, the sand through the bed before you even get in, and sand over the floor was hard to accept. A rug, or carpeted bedrooms could have helped reduce this in a way, it does not stick to you and then into bed. Beach towels would be an idea to have available, and additional towels (they became very dirty and sandy very quickly). The couch was not big enough to fit your family on there. Understand space is tight, but by putting tv on wall, and then having a larger couch, would help. even a rug for and children to sit on, instead of the cold floor. Better blinds in the master bedroom. The sensor light kept going off at night, which is outside the master room. This continued to light up the room through the style of blind, every time the light was on. A block out blind, and not verticals would make more sense. Or block out curtain over the top. The roller blind at the entrance door is awkward. if you are out all day, everyone can see straight into apartment and all your belongings. Would be an idea to have windows tinted, where it can only be visual one way (see out, and not in through the day). The front door security screens did not lock into frame and can be moved open. If you were in the apartment with glass doors open for air, anyone could move the security screens and walk in, without the need to unlock them. Beds were not fully made. Only bottom sheet was fitted, and the top sheet and donna folded at end of bed. This became difficult when it was myself and two young children late at night. Carried them in from car (asleep) to put them in, but had to make bed up.

The apartment suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately it had a bad smell or odor which I didn’t like. It smelt like mildew. The apartment looked like it had been recently painted and renovated but the smell of mound was still present.

I got abused out the front by someone threatening to hurt me as he knew where I was staying

Great location, across the road from beach and RSL, close to shops and cafes. Unit was clean, neat and tidy with everything we needed. Wifi and Netflix worked great, board games and books etc for the kids were an appreciated bonus.

If I was to make any suggestion it would be to maybe have a vacuum cleaner in the unit to make cleaning up the sand easier, but the broom did a good enough job to get rid of most of it.

Location was great.

The only thing negative I will say is that the matress in the main bedroom was not comfortable.

We were very happy about everything there.

It had everything you needed and the location was amazing!

the building needed bull dozing down .if i had seen outside of building in the adds i would not have stay there.not what i expected nearly turned around an went home .inside was ok bathroom cupboard smelt of mould.
