Chic 2BR Apartment, Ideal Location by Buena Vista

The location of the apartment is in a very good part of the Tashbish district, in front of Manoel island. Easy to get within 10 minutes by taxi to Valletta's old town. Within 5 minute's walk are located a few nice cafes, for every taste - from Turkish kebab to French croissants. In a 15 to 20-minute walk is a ferry from Sliema to Valletta or boat trips around the island or to Gozo island.

At the time of arrival, the room was still being cleaned. It took around one hour of waiting. It is expected that staff will inform in advance that the room is not ready.

When doing a booking via booking.com, I expect to just do a few clicks in the application and it is done. Here instead, there was a long and complex check in process, with additional limitations not explained in advanced, such as a limit of kw/h in electricity consumption (and weirdly no way of knowing what was the meter when checking in and checking out), a requirement to sign a separate rental agreement contract, a requirement to leave an additional 250 EUR deposit... And many emails back and forth. The property is nice, but I will not go thru the same hassle again.

I liked the quiet and peaceful area in which the apartment is located. There are free parking spaces, there is a large, well-stocked, long-working supermarket. It is within walking distance of Valletta. If you are walking around and you do not want to get transport for 45 minutes you are in Valletta. The apartment has all the necessary for the cozy stay of a family.

Comfy place in a good location

On arrival there were cockroaches in multiple rooms which was disgusting. Had maintenance come and spray the place twice during our 5 wk stay. So frustrating however they did respond quickly to our request. Did find dead cockroaches in the days after spraying which soured our experience of an otherwise nice place.

Big and quiet flat with everything you need

The apartment is large and beautiful (exactly as pictured), located very close to Sliema promenade where you can find many restaurants and shops. It's also very close to bus stops that take you all over the island. Communication with the property was fast and efficient.

We didn't encounter any issues.

Perfect location, very close to shops and restaurants, bus stop to Valletta about 2 minutes walk, Sliema ferries about 10 minutes walk or short bus ride. Property was quiet through the day and night.Pierre was helpful from the day he picked us up from the airport.
