Hotel was great . Cottage was closed due to construction which was a bit stressful however the hotel itself was great . No issues !

Very convenient with everything being so close toand suited my needs

The best thing about the place was the location, close to the metro and groceries/restaurants. The bad thing was that there was no housekeeping, and we even had to take our trash to the trash room. No room service at all. Our room's fire alarm battery ran out, and it was delayed for a long time in order to replace it. When someone came with a battery, it was not good enough to make it run and they suggested us to turn off the alarm. We also had a slight leak of water from the bathroom ceiling for 1-2 days, but was stopped after 2 nights.

Exceptional 10 out of 10

Ok...no one in lobby. We had to call to get someone. It was hard to even see the phone number from the outside door. The person who eventually answered said 10 minutes and it was 10 minutes when we were outside with a truckload of stuff. There was no card to bring our luggage in. There was one blanket in the closet for the pull out bed which was kind of ratty and no pillowcases or sheets. One of the window shades was completely broken and there was a problem with the shower door plastic bumper. Not for some of the other people who are staying there. We would not even have been able to get in and wait for the attendant to let us into our room. The street was awkward and we could not even get down it due to the construction. The parking was advertised as available but it really wasn't. Oh, when we checked into the room, smell was horrible because of the heavy cleaning products that were used. It took a while for us to even get over the smell. The blank can smelled too. It's kind of sad because the hotel is in a good location, but you can hardly find it.

Excellent service across the board

The hotel was like staying in our own apartment and was very simple to get into with keypad codes. Would recommend for people wanting to stay in NJ or near NYC.

1st trip to NJ. Hotel itself was not well maintained. The "fully furnished" kitchen was very lite on furnishings. (Cups, plates, etc) Lots of unsatisfactory patch jobs. (Exposed wires, tiles missing in places, lite bulbs blown, etc) They "balcony" was not even a thing. The road was closed in front of the hotels almost the entire time. Very hard to navigate if you are a driver. The staff itself on the other hand were very sweet and did their absolute best to make you feel welcomed and accommodating. This was my 1st time staying in a hotel that was not a common chain so it was very different than what I was expecting. The bed was phenomenal though. Slept well and felt very safe.
