Peachtree Suites

The gentleman that was at the desk when I checked in, didn’t have a pleasant disposition. The following day, the young man that I encountered at the desk was very kind and polite. Unfortunately, we had a room that the door lock was a total disaster. Extremely difficult to get in and out of your room. Then finally we ended up locked in the room. I got a bunch of apologies though I had to pressure them into putting us into a new room. It was a big inconvenience. Other than that, the stay was quite nice.

Located at walking distance from Journal square was a nice to have. Checkin process is not clear in Expedia. I had to call to find out how it worked. Pictures of my suite showed a table and chair that could be used for remote work but my suite didn’t come with it. Sofa bed not comfortable. Bed was pretty comfy and street noise didn’t impact my sleep. Outside terrace hasn’t been cleaned for a while and outdoor furniture looked dirty. Did not use that area. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels and toiletries.

Property was very convenient to Journal Square. Within a 5 minute walk.

This place is nicer than advertised. Kitchen appliances brand new, extra sofa bed, the best for the price in Yersey. Walking distance to downtown 35 minutes

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.

The hotel is reasonably priced and decently clean. It met the very basic needs I had for the evening, but everything seemed to have a catch and LOTS of things were much more difficult than they needed to be. You get what you pay for. The locks and doors were overly complicated and the door to the balcony was very loose. There was virtually no service personal at the front desk during regular hours. There were (3) remotes for the tv, but I'm not sure any of them worked well and the media platforms on the tv was not streamlined or easy to navigate. The street it's on has ALOT of construction and the street is ridiculously narrow for vehicles. The hallway on the 3rd floor also smelled a little like someone had accidentally burned breakfast but it lingered and didn't dissipate. Even the sample body wash was nicely laid-out, but next to impossible to actually open to use. If you ONLY need a shower and nice bed to sleep in it's ok. It was comfortable enough and I slept well, but otherwise I would not recommend it.

Somebody came into my room while me and my bf went out and stole my wallet and my crocs. The front desk wouldn’t check the cameras said I would have to wait for manager who would be coming in after I checked out .
