Location excellent as within easy walking distance of the railway station, main Bath attractions and M&S food store.

Would have liked a washing up bowl, dishcloth and more tea towels!

"Location! Location! Location! in a beautiful house"

10.0

This house if BEAUTIFUL. The location can't be beat and is a short and easy walk from the Bath Spa train station. The decor is fitting with the architecture of the house. Built in the 1750's, it's perfect for a real Bath experience. My American group members couldn't stop raving about how much they loved it. There's a Marks and Spencer Food Hall at the end of the street, and the Abbey and Baths are right around the corner too.

I had a quiet room, facing the inner courtyard, but three of the others in my group had street facing rooms. Both nights that we stayed at this lovely house, they were kept awake until around 4:00 am (Friday/Saturday nights) from the street noise outside the windows. There are noise reduction windows to help, but if you want fresh air, then these won't be too much help. They closed the windows, but it didn't help too much.
