The room was really clean and cheap. The host was pleasant.

The shower was never warm enough - just little warm if you are ready to wait for 15 mins. The ceiling was very low, I could touch it. Very cheap option - better than a

Very noisy

whole place needs renovation. No tub mat to prevent slipping while showering. No bath mat to step on while geting out of shower. Very drab room. A coffee pot was in the room but no coffee. Usually there is a small packet of coffee so the room occupant can make a morning cup, was told I could get a packet in the VENDING machine. Very disappointing choice of hotel.

Hotel located in historical part of the city, right in 5 minuets from Downtown. We feel safety

People worked in the hotel we very friendly

Off season in South Fla is different. I was the only person in the hotel & the house cleaner. Plenty of parking

They had a good restaurant & bar which is being replaced by a new one. Same owners

The hotel manager, Christine, was superb. Although the building is older than she is, she knew about its history and many facts about the Homestead area. She even told us about one very famous guest who stayed in the hotel years before she was even born. She was very helpful with all our questions and offered suggestions for where to eat. When the lock on the door broke, she called a locksmith, and stayed with him even though it took him several hours to fix it. The hotel is from a by-gone era, but has been beautifully renovated and feels very comfortable. The place was immaculate. Our room had a sliding glass door to a large upstairs back patio which was a wonderful place to just sit and relax.
