The Hotel Redland

Spartan room. Tiny bath towels.

The Pros - comfy bed and clean, albeit small, room. The staff (basically one person) was helpful and knowledgable. We stayed on the first floor and a very good restaurant and well-stocked bar was just down the hall. But we really couldn't hear the 'noise' from the restaurant/bar.

Hot water was iffy, but the staff assured us it would be hot in a few hours for an afternoon, pre-wedding shower. If folks want coffee you have to ask for coffee (for the coffee pot in the room). Maybe the restaurant will consider offering coffee and croissants in the morning. The staff (hotel and restaurant) is good but small, so I understand why breakfast is not offered. There's a good diner within an easy, 10 minute walk.

Easy access to Everglades. Inexpensive (still not worth it). Food at restaurant was ok. Just.

Dirty room. AC did not work properly. Manager was surly. NO HOT WATER!! And manager would not change our room or fix the hot water. Lots of ambient light at night. Loud music on Saturday night from restaurant. Cabinets falling apart.

No coffee… had to buy from vending Machine. Location was too industrial business oriented. Restaurant in building not opened early enough !

Perfect for us to visit the Everglades from, Everything as described and good food

The hotel is nicely redone, clean and bright. Great location to Everglades. The restaurant is really great food… and nice vibe( daytime) However, 11 pm on a Wednesday night a full pitch for live bands ( or karaoke?) is kind of a non starter. The email mentions that it’s loud on weekends..but during the week, similarly deafening. I’d also say there no one to complain to- hotel phone goes straight to vm. Towels are very small, not enough for 2 night stay. Sorry, I wanted to love it but….

It was definitely clean! The room was easy to access even though there is no front desk. Sheets and towels are changed daily.

It was super loud! We were in one of the rooms on the back of the restaurant and it was impossible to sleep. The staff kept yelling and singing way after 11pm. The walls are paper thin, I could hear someone in the room next door snoring. The bed was super uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was a historical nice building, great location, good price, good, free parking

The management sent two auto messages about checking in that included info about the restaurant and bar which I was looking forward to…what they failed to mention is that the restaurant is closed Mondays.
