USUSIt was really beautiful, our room had a private patio over looking the creek running through the property. Perfect location to town, totally walking distance.
Location, felt like you were in the forrest but just 2 blocks from down town.

USStayed in the cottage and the view from the kitchen/bedroom was absolutely amazing! The patio area at the cottage was perfect and what a view of the greenery! Listening to the creek water run at night reminded me of camping as a child and brought back great memories, but the cottage was obviously more comfortable. Did not really hear the road noise (two roads close) over the creek water. Almost everything you could need was supplied in this unique cottage. The main house entry, kitchen area, parlor, and patio were also very amazing. I have never seen so many teacups and saucers ever in one place! This was a much deserved get-away for us and this was the perfect spot for it. Would love to return next time we need to detox. Again thank you!
We would have loved to meet the proprietor of this lovely location to learn more of the house history since it was built in 1861. And, I would have loved to hear the proprietor's history/story as well, since the information I did find about her was intriguing. The few times we did speak and text, she was extremely nice, polite and helpful. Also, as just a suggestion, although there were several continental breakfast choices, perhaps pastries from your favorite bakery would be a good addition, as well as supporting another small business owner. Adding their business card so we could also support them.
USWe liked everything about it. It was truly amazing. We loved the breakfast, happy with all the yummy choices and delicious coffee. We sat outside on the deck enjoying the morning and all the natural beauty that surrounds Flume's End.
There wasnt anything that we didnt like. It was perfect. .
USThe Falling Water room was so cute and a great view of the creek. The grounds were lovely. Quick walk into downtown Nevada City for drinks, dinner, and music. I recommend this spot!
I don't think there is anything that I didn't like.
USMagical ambience and great location. The creek winds around the property and right past the building. The view from my room was great and I could hear the sounds of the stream. The food that was available for breakfast was nice and at a higher standard than most hotel continentals. The building is quite old but was in great shape and the sound was well insulated between our room and the one next to us.
