"Charming updated motel"

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend getaway at the Alander. The rooms have been completely updated but still have a retro charm. The room felt quite spacious and the bed is SO comfortable! Also the shower--amazing! There is a really cute courtyard with several fire pits and the grounds are beautiful. It's a very quick trip to the Alander Mountain trails and Bash Bish Falls State Park. The owners are so kind and it is clear that the Alander is their baby which they have showered love and hard work on. We loved it!

"Cute boutique motel with tasteful decorations and nice amenities"

My husband and I stayed at this motel to be able to explore nearby (30 minute drive) Hudson, NY. The room was very cute, tastefully decorated with modern touches. The shower head was especially amazing! I took 3 showers in 2 days just to experience it again. The room had a French press for coffee, with very good coffee grounds available; tea and a tea kettle; an adorable retro mini fridge; snacks available to purchase; and a TV with streaming apps available as well as free TV channels. The king sized bed was very comfortable, with fresh smelling bed linens. There was a small sitting area. The towels in the bathroom were thick and fluffy. The lock was a very modern code entry system that felt safe. The owners were very responsive when our wifi temporarily went out. Highly recommend!
