Hidden Gem and Hideaway

A beautiful oasis. Hidden and lonely. The big houses are maybe great. Unfortunately, the small rooms/houses lack a place to stay. There is no public pool and no restaurant. There isn't really anything within walking distance. You need a scooter or a car. The scooters on site are relatively expensive. We had a large construction site directly opposite our house. It was very loud and not nice to look at. The staff is great. We were very unhappy there and the management agreed to cancel 3 out of 5 nights.

The door on the treehouse was faulty and the aircon didn’t keep the room very cold was too hot at times, and the shower didn’t work

It’s a small hotel with very nice little bungalows on a hill in Ungusan. You have a lot of privacy and all the green around tou is beautiful and I had seaview. The staff was superfriendly I will definitely come back hete.

Salty Breeze does not offer breakfast it has no restaurant. It’s pretty remote and there are some restaurants in the neighborhood, but you need a car or a bike to get your breakfast. Salty Breeze does rent out scooters though.

In a very quiet location which taxi from port found difficult to find. The pool and breakfast/dinner are not available at Salty Breeze but at the hotel right next door. This worked quite well but was unexpected. It appears the two hotels were once one, but have split recently. You will have to have transport to get anywhere from here. Service from desk staff was very good.

Great place to stay

The page needs to be updated as it looks like there's a restaurant and communal pool which there isn't.

The concept of the hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and it has a gym area.

The monkeys are ok and nice to see if you are inside, but you had to wait on a couple of occasions to go to the toilet as they would be waiting outside and could be quite aggressive if you went outside (baring their teeth). The staff did say they would come and get them away for you and it is just nature, so we do understand. I think the concept of an outdoor toilet is nice, but the practicalities of it in this environment do not work. Also, we stayed in the canopy room and the outside toilet just overlooked where the staff were hanging out laundry etc. so did not feel very private at all! If you have Bali Belly, would not recommend. The location is also very isolated. We did walk to one restaurant, but it is quite far from anything. We ended up only staying one night instead of 2. The door does not close properly in the canopy room either and the air con is not great when you are in a glass box.

This place is a hidden paradise in the jungle! Outstanding rooms, amazing service, and MAKE SURE YOU STAY IN THE POOL ROOM...You won't be disappointed!

We had a resident dog come and visit us everyday...I just wish there were more! Honestly - there was nothing we didn't like.

I had such a lovely time here! The property is so beautiful and the hosts are very kind. They are so happy to help with any of your needs. I stayed in two different rooms here during my time in Bali and both were very unique and will not be forgotten. I highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon!
