"Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere"

2.0

Poor Management with no real direction and poor clientele. I have stayed in places like this off and on for years. As someone who is building a business I have traveled to a lot of different states. In my travels I have been consistently told "Do not stay at Intown". Well this peaked my curiosity so I checked in to the one on Bethel Road. I have to say I am amazed this place is in such a good part of town because it looked, and felt like it should have been in a low economic area. The parking lot was full of trash as were the hallways. Half of the washers and dryers were out of order, and Showtime kept going out. The manager Harvey was arrogant and rude and Housekeeping is questionable. If your wanting to stay in Columbus in the Upper Arlington Area do your self a favor and pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. You do not get your value here.

"Nice room, poor management."

2.0

Extended stay customer and the place is beyond noisey. The bathrooms are connected via vent in the ceiling and someone continues to smoke in one of the bathrooms. The smell of weed was so strong that the bathroom can no longer be used. Heather, the property manager, is very unprofessional and refuses to do anything about complaints. If the local law enforcement and local Fire Marshall were to be contacted they may shut the place down. They give you attitude if you make a complaint of any kind. Was in a bind and needed a place to stay, but now wish we had chosen better. May contact the BBB and city prosecutor and the constant drug use.

"Livable, but tiny room and many other issues"

6.0

We stayed here for a week, and had a reasonable experience, but with many minor issues: 1. When we arrived, they didn't even know we had a room booked. So they gave us another room that was available. 2. Security issue: The deadbolt in the room door didn't work. We called the maintenance guy. He fiddled around with it for an hour and then declared that it's a big job. And then we never heard from anyone. 3. Pests - saw many ants and centipedes 4. The room had a funny odor when we checked in. We had to call the on-shift guy who came in and sprayed some industrial freshner which smelled even more awful. 5. The vinyl floor was very sticky. The stickiness never went away. 6. No lock in the bathroom door 7. The clothes hanger in the bathroom was very flimsy. It kept coming apart, so we just gave up and hung our clothes on the shower rod. 8. Laundry room door never closed properly. 9. This was a 2-bed room, and was still so tiny. 10. The kitchen was really tiny, with 2ft of counter space, literally. Overall, I'd rank this place a 2.5 out of 5.

"Terrible"

2.0

The location had good managers and customer service in the past, until Heather whom is beyond rude, lacks customer service. I contacted corporate but they didn't bother to respond about my complaint - obviously they don't care about the paying customers. They don't advertise that they charge additional for internet. Even with a 'remodel' - seems like is was bare minimum, not a true remodel. My list of complaints could go. Other than the location, not a positive things to say. I'd stay elsewhere.

"The worst place I have ever stayed in."

2.0

They asked for 50 dollars deposit if I break something during my stay and I stayed only for 5 days not a whole week and I left everything intact and I did not break anything. They returned only 25 dollars of the deposit and took the other 25 dollars and they said that I left the room in unacceptable conditions. I talked to the manager and he told me that we are not going to return the money back to you.

"CHEAP"

4.0

We stayed here a week while visiting our sons who live nearby. The beds are OK. The kitchnette cabinets are worn and need repair or be replaced Coffee pot and utensils are not provided. Soap and very poor towels are provided. A $50 damage refundable deposit is required. Free WIFI. 40" TV is nice. The bathroom is OK, shower good. Only one small shelf over sink that bumps your head when leaning over the sink.

"stay only when desperate"

4.0

A motel is a motel, and not a hotel (not that those are always safe ground either). So, you get what you pay for. The place is OK for a few days, if you absolutely can’t stay anywhere else. Good things about the place: the 43 inch flat screen TV, close to the shops (Giant Eagle, Walmart, etc) and other conveniences (highways). The internet was so slooooooow though! It often just turned itself off! The building stank of cigarettes, old dirty carpets, damp and many other strange strong odours. I was allergic to the bed covers, so I removed them. I itched like crazy any time I touched them. I wonder if it was because they had dust or what else the problem could’ve been. The covers (not the sheets) also had lots of stains on them! The housekeeping sometimes happened in the afternoons and at other times in the mornings. Someone barged into my room while I was sleeping in the morning. I’m just a bit worried about their bug control as well. While I stayed there I got bitten by a brown recluse spider in my room! That was just scary. Then there was there air conditioning. I turned it on once and never turned it on again because the air it gave off the stink of something dead. This was an experience hopefully never to be repeated.
