It was a very lovely place to spend time. There are so many interesting things that made it a very homey experience. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The common areas had a lot of books and other things to do, including board games.

The place was easy to find and park. It was about a 10 min walk to the small historic centre. The property inside is immaculate, set up like a Victorian/ Edwardian film set. Our room was large with a great bathroom and decent bed. The area was wonderfully quiet. You are greeted by the very attentive host who is happy to answer any questions about the property and area.

For good reason the in room facilities have been moved to a centrally located coffee station and fridge. Breakfast is all theatre starting at 0830 sharp and guests dine around a large table to enable interaction no matter what. The hosts go through the display and pomp of presenting the single breakfast dish. Special requests could be accommodated by prior arrangement. If you want a quiet slow wake-up set of choices then this place is not for you. Many will love the hosts showmanship in beautiful surroundings.
