Hex Wildlife Hotel

Bistro was the only restaurant open after 6pm the evening service was very sliw,im 1person i wrnt in at 6pm left at 7.20pm asked twice for my desert, was told there busy,they were the only restaurant open so of course they were busy and being ignored because your a single person is no excuse i had to get the manager over very poor

This is a beautiful hotel that was really really clean and had a lot of extra little touches in the room, for a very reasonable price.

Everything you need - bedside tables on both sides, with USB points. Bed was quite small for a double and there was no full height mirror. Otherwise, great. 🙂

The hotel is really nice, it has everything you need! Only problem is that it is full of kids so be prepared to be woken up with banging, screaming and running around! The pain in the bathroom could also do with a touch up. You also can’t walk round in the nude as the lower window isn’t in the best position

Check-in is chaos, with people queuing in the reception area, and some people's rooms still not ready at stated check-in times. Suite rooms dont quite overlook the animals as billed, but you do get a cracking view of the park. The suites are basically furnished, but spacious and have pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom area is huge and shower is nice and powerful. You hear quite a lot of noise from other rooms - children running up and down corridors - but then it's obviously more set up for families than couples.

We had booked a room that was described as having a view to see the animals but we were put on the opposite side of the hotel. My wife checked in by herself with two kids, whilst I was out(watching the football) the staff watched her struggle with 2 cases a pram and two children. They could have offered to take the bags as there was a gent working there
