Kosea Boutique Hotel

Thought I’d write this as we’ve just left the hotel after a fantastic Kos week away, We chose this hotel as was central to many things. It reminded me of the old “ small & friendly “ hotel listings you used to get back in the day. So transfer is 30 mins from the airport so nice & quick, Hotel is clean & generally well maintained, the staff are very very good & very pleasant. Our room was a first floor sea facing room with a comfortable bed & great view. The downside to the sea view rooms is that the road noise is horrendous. Alongside the echoing corridors, guest noise & the road we would not chose a sea view again. The cleaners are excellent but they start getting prepared around 8am & cannot help but make some noise. Our room had some kind of electrical issue as the lights stayed on a bit even when switched off ??? Breakfast is a bone of contention as so many English we spoke to moaned that there was no toast & it let down the offering. Please….add a toaster to the breakfast experience. Fridge & coffee maker in the room Small bar at the pool serving some food but not snacks. Room 202 needs a little TLC as our basin was cracked & had been for a while, the crack was bad but didn’t leak. Shower room architrave is water damaged. And our surprise was the poo paper sign…..come on Kos it’s 2026, sort your plumbing out ! We will return to this hotel should we visit this wonderful island again.

I personally do not think this hotel is a 'boutique' hotel and struggle to rate it as 4 star. Location is very good for getting around the area. On arrival late at night we were 'upgraded' to a junior suite which we thought was great but although the room was very good and spacious we had issues with the bathroom and the balcony. The balcony overlooked a dirty roof, a wall with extractor pipe and was directly under 2 walk ways and above the smelly kitchen bins! When we asked to have our original room (terrace) we were told it was no longer available and asked to pay an extra 600 euros to have a 1st floor room overlooking the street at the back, this wouldn't have worked for us as the lifts are tiny and inaccessible for a wheelchair! The bathroom, although 'accessible' it was very awkward as no vanity or storageshelf area, very low lighting, no adjustable shower head (no pole to slide lower) pressure was far too high and soaking bathroom toilet paper etc if you didn't hold on to it, no wheelchair adjustable mirror for correct height, no anti slip floor etc generally very difficult to use for 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to disabled guests as both the breakfast area and the pool toilets and showers are inaccessible. We were cut off from reaching the breakfast area until they unlocked a door by the pool and moved planters to allow my husband in his wheelchair to get to a breakfast table. He couldn't reach the food as it is up 5 stairs so he couldn't see the food nor serve himself throughout our 2 week stay. The pool toilets and shower rooms are down 2 sets of steps so he would have to go back to the room to use either. There was also no allergy or dietary options at breakfast for myself, no toast machine and very little in the way of variety. Most of the food available was greasy, and uninviting, couple of baskets of dry rolls. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast and were ready to go home after a week as very disappointed with our stay here. It was an expensive stay and totally not worth the money. The pool bar, pool and staff at the pool were the only things that made our stay enjoyable, Anna, Nestios, George, Eleanor, Chris and our cleaner were all very friendly and helpful.

We all thought the hotel hit the target Firstly the staff are all really nice Chris as you walkin the door George the restraunt manager and the Scottish lads in the pool bar The pool isn’t the biggest but there are always sunbeds and the pool bar isn’t expensive and offer a good range of drinks and food Our room a sea view room was really up to date Lovley bed slippers towels robes and the shower was great Cleaners never stop and the reception are always there to help Great location near to everything yes the road outside can be busy but it’s kos town All in all great wee hotel

This is a 3 star hotel at most. The staff are absolutely lovely but the actual hotel is not nice. Rooms are dated, bathrooms are old, the pool is not one of a boutique hotel. The location is good. I wouldn’t stay here again. The property is not maintained well, there is clear limescale on the bathroom walls and there is missing skirting board in the rooms.

This was a lovely hotel spacious rooms but the pool area let it down small so decided to look elsewhere just Down the road we came across beds and umbrella on a shingle beach where you are at the water’s edge only 20 beds very quiet a peaceful watching the ferries come in from the subbed. The sun beds was in the ownership of Smiles Taverna And to put the icing on the cake Smiles had its own Greek Taverna run by the family turning out some fantastic food and drinks just brilliant

What a gem! excellent location very close to the post in a really nice part of Kos town. I was upgraded to a sea view room that offered majestic views to the Aegean. Very friendly staff and nice pool ambience. We did rent a car to explore the island for a few days but also we could explore the town with a bicycle! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Kosea Boutique Hotel with my wife and had a great time! The staff were amazing — friendly, professional, and radiated a positive atmosphere. You could tell they worked well together, which really enhanced our experience. The lifeguard at the pool was always helpful and attentive, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and we especially enjoyed the traditional Greek corner. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. Another big plus is the hotel's location — just a short walk from the city center and the port. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing holiday in Kos!

I came with my boyfriend we had an amazing night. Everyone was very friendly, the rooms was just as the photos and it’s close to the centre too!!
