Kosea Boutique Hotel

This hotel is not four star . The reception girls are very helpful and cheerful. The doorman is brilliant and very helpful the cleaners are brilliant As for the rest of the staff forget it. The lifeguard sits and does nothing all day apart from puts a few umbrellas up and takes the safety chain off around the pool. He sits with another chap and they just chat all day. The breakfast stuff on no better on watch you struggle down four steps with your food in your hand. Alexander works very hard keeping the food replenished. The food on display looks amazing but don’t be fooled all the hot food is cold. cold fried eggs, cold boiled eggs, cold beans. The fruit juice is concentrated .Toast is not on the menu bread rolls or French bread the cakes are very nice but forget the pastries. They seem to be long life pastries that we buy in bags in the UK. The restaurant with the al cart menu is closed in the evening and no buffet style dinner. However, a few doors down they have a bar restaurant that you can have food in the evening .The bar snacks you can have a toasty with chips but you cannot have a toasty on its own or chips on its own half a lager is €4.50 You can have as many towels as you want in this hotel, but they are all past their best some have holes in and thread bare. you will not have a relaxing time around the pool in the morning as reservation work going on behind you drilling.The sea view is amazing but the dress shop under some balcony’s have a gathering every evening with up to ten people.Brilliant location.

Overpriced and definitely not a 4 star . More like a 2 star , unprofessional front desk and rooms with the cheapest fitout possible . Some rooms don’t have a basin the bathroom. Breakfast very basic, almost inedible. Hiding behind a facade of Eco friendly , so you don’t use the air conditioner and waste water . More like services to lower the running cost of hotel, but still expecting guest to pay premium night stays

The Kosea is a small boutique hotel just outside main Kos Town. We had a deluxe sea view room which was lovely with a small balcony and a fabulous sea view. The wash hand basin was in the bedroom which was unusual but didn’t bother us as a couple (might have been different if the room was shared by friends)! The pluses: - great location, within walking distance of Kos Town (5-10 mins). - large spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. - fridge and safe in the room. - reasonably priced pool side bar. - pool towels provided and all towels changed daily - room cleaned daily too. - hotel very clean throughout. - all staff are friendly and helpful. The negatives: - hotel is located on a busy main road which is very very noisy - especially if you are booked in a sea view room. - breakfast has variety but it’s not great - eating outside for breakfast is on the main road so not ideal. The bakery just down the road towards Kos Town was spectacular - we ate there instead. - main let down is the pool and the fact that half of it remains in the shade at all times (different half depending on the time of day). - there were not enough sunbeds to cope - there were chairs but these were not used much and were really a waste of potential sunlounger capacity. Overall, we had a great holiday - this is warts and all review - enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Loved our stay at the Kosea. The hotel is perfectly located, with tavernas on the doorstep and the centre of Kos Town a short walk along the front. We had a deluxe sea view room which is larger and had a great view over the bay to Turkey. (The only negative is that some traffic noise could be heard at times because the road on front leads to the port.) It was great sitting on the balcony watching ferries sailing across. The room had everything that you could need, including a fridge, kettle, coffee maker etc. and was perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. (The cleaner serviced the room every morning whilst we were at breakfast.) The pool area is pleasant and although not huge, we always found sunbeds when we wanted to relax. The pool itself is a good size so that you can have a proper swim if you want. (There is also a gym.) There is also a pool bar serving drinks and snacks. Plenty of choice of food and drinks at breakfast and although it could be busy, the food was constantly topped up and we always found a table. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Good and friendly staff

This was our second visit this year and it did not disappoint. Often when you return somewhere you love, it fails to be as good. But the Hotel team are so professional and polite it’s just so easy to be a guest. You won’t find a cleaner place to stay and the location is superb. I seriously have no fault with this hotel.

Lovely modern boutique hotel. Staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. Everywhere was kept spotless, room was spacious and comfortable with good quality toiletries. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, ideal for a relaxing break. Also very well situated as less than a 10 minute walk from the main shopping and restaurant area

Absolutely loving this hotel, we have a deluxe Seaview room and waking up to this view every morning is exactly what we were looking for. The staff are all really friendly, the pool is great as are the rooms. Breakfast has been lovely every morning, and the hotel bar on the corner give a discount on food and drinks with a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel.
