I've stayed here on business several times and had a great night's sleep every time.

It was convenient to our next day appointment in Paden City.

Nice people, great view of Ohio River. Only disappointments are the in-room hot tub lacks water jet pressure, and the sofa bed has a really lumpy mattress.

Location was great

It really needs remodeled, the bathroom and the appearance is old and needs up dated

The senior citizens room that my parents stayed in, was well-suited to their needs. It was relatively clean and the bathroom was absolutely perfect for what they needed. The room I stayed in, was a disaster. Dirt and handprints all over the walls, the bedding on top was dirty and stained, the dust ruffle around the bed was torn, and because of that you could see that the mattress itself was absolutely filthy. the fixtures are all corroded and nearly rusted through, the wallpaper in the bathroom is moldy and falling down. There was no light bulb working in the bathroom. The room I stayed in clearly needs an upgrade and repairs. The staff were friendly and listen carefully to my concerns as I left.

They make a copy of your credit card if u dont have cash as a 100.00 deposit. When asked to get copy back after check out she advised no they keep it on file. There was nowhere else available to stay or I would have left. Hotel very outdated. Walls with stains going down them and carpet extremely old. Beds not comfortable and hard and all linens very old. A noise kept going on and off all thru night thru the pipes. Air conditioning and heat units very old and barely work. Extremely outdated and run down. Will drive 45 min out of town to stay next time. Stayed here a yr ago and was disappointed but wanted to give another chance.

Lobby looked good room was nasty i checked in went to the room looked around and walked right back out...place is gross room 118

We travel somewhere different every year for my daughter’s memorial this year we chose West Virginia! Worst mistake !😡 We got to our room after dinner thinking we were gonna enjoy the hot tub but to our surprise nothing but mud came out of the faucet I went downstairs to make a report then was told by the gentleman at the desk to keep running the water which did not work we could not use it after paying for a suit then my husband went to turn tv on it didn’t work the guy at the desk finally got the tv working ! When I went to check out yesterday instead of the young girl offering to make the stay right she was just worried about taking the taxes out of my deposit for the stay !! We never even got offered another room !! When ask if pool was in working condition was told yes but it’s not heated and the hot tub was out of service ! Will never return again

I have stayed at this property several times. I have never had an issue. I want to begin saying that Jesse is an AMAZING employee and needs a raise and an OSCAR for still smiling and being kind to guests even though he was over worked and exhausted. The pool was not open. It needed maintenance on the heat pump. I was there 3 days and never saw it being addressed. The first room we were put in did not have working AC and I assume that is why there were about 30 boxes of AC units stacked at the entrance. The room smelled of mildew/black mold. The "breakfast" was Nutter bars and Ho Hos that I am pretty sure were discontinued in the '90s. Saying that this place was a disappointment is an understatement. I will not being staying there again. Not only out of the poor conditions of the facility, but how they treat their employees. #jessierocks
