Hotel Boutique Casa Laja

Top notch service. We visited thanks to a couple's suggestion we had met while in SMA and boy did it exceed our expectations. The hotel and restaurant are both meticulously well appointed. The view was outstanding. The food was spectacular, what stood out though was the service! We were staying at one of the cities most luxurious hotels and it didn't hold a candle to this restaurant. After eating dinners all week in SMA this was by far the best meal we had, no competition. I would even go as far as to say this restaurant provided the best meal and restaurant experience we have Ever had. Each dish was so incredibly lovely. We started with the catch of the day ceviche as well as the cauliflower, then followed it with the octopus and catch of the day main course. To complete the night the owner had gifted us a complementary flan dessert. AMAZING! Once done, the restaurant partner brought us to meet the owner of the hotel and he personally showed us the rooms and asked how our restaurant experience was. We were truly disappointed that we hadn't stayed at this lovely hotel. I cannot emphasize how invested this hotel and its restaurant is in making your experience the best you have ever had. Go to dinner here, it will be the highlight of your stay in SMA.
