I'm an American so being unfamiliar with Malaysia i didnt quite know what to expect of hotels in Malaysia. I stayed in room 603 from the middle of august to about a week or so ago. From what i saw and experienced, this is the best, cleanest, highest class hotel i have ever been in, in my life. I stayed briefly in other hotels like Cosmo Hotel in KL centre or 5 senses or other 4 or 5 star hotels near Kuala Lumpur. None of them can compare with double tree in shah Alam. All the other hotels had a mold smell or were unlivable (especially cosmo hotel - which was frankly a terrible experience). The Saujana Hotel was the only other hotel that seemed almost on par but still had a mold mildew smell present. However shah alam doubletree by hilton was in comparison extremely clean, zero mold smell or mildew issues, excellent staff service even in AM hours, a luxurious lobby and restaurant, courteous and helpful staff and managers - essentially a 5 star hotel experience straight from top tier professionals likely trained in switzerland , but in Malayasia. The only downside of double tree in shah Alam was the distance from KL proper, but it is still the best hotel in my opinion, in Malaysia around KL

Beautiful hotel and just opened in Aug 2022. We stayed 8 nights and by the second night the staff started to recongize us and greeted us warmly each time. The house keeping staff was also super attentive and helpful checking in on us in the evening to make sure we had enough water bottles and towels for the night. Extra bonus for being next to a mall with an outdoor walk path leading directly from hotel lobby to side entrance of the mall.

The check in experience was smooth and great. Cheryl who attended to us was very efficient, welcoming and courteous. Thank you for giving us a lovely stay.

Everything was great except for service. Food service was not good, staff not knowledgable.

New hotel with a very nice pool for families. Staffs are well trained and very professional. The location is a little bit off if you are in KL for holiday. However, I will stay in this hotel for my next visit as Grab in MY is cheap enough.

I will definitely give the hotel rate 100/10 Love it and very friendly staff and my room smells great so clean.. i will definitely book again and will consider this my to go hotel in KL 👍🙏
