Majestic Byblos Grand Hotel

The property was immaculate throughout. All furniture and furnishings were top class as we are all the members of staff. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Unfortunately, as this is a new hotel, the gym hadn’t been completed as yet.

The receptionist welcomed us with a very beautiful smile and The waiter during breakfast was super nice, had a noce conversation with a beautiful smile and elegance.

The hotel was not fully booked (not to say empty) and we asked for 30 more minutes to check out, as we went to a hike and wanted to get a quick shower, i expected the answer to be “of course take ur time” but the answer was “yes but not more than 30 min”. For me this was enough to understand how welcoming they are! Hospitality wise, generosity should come first!

Good location

I was staying for three nights at Majestic, the hotel is average, I would definitely not rate it as a 4 stars hotel. My major problem with the hotel is that they are breaking some walls next to my room during my stay and no respect whatsoever to the guests who are sleeping, that was around 8 am. I informed the front desk and they informed me that they are making some renovations and will ask the contractor to stop working. The work did not stop and I had a severe headache and left the room for more than 3 hours and when I returned back the noise is still everywhere so i called the front desk and he told me that they couldn’t stop and will probably stop working after 30 minutes. Shame!!!!

Location was perfect, within walking distance from a bakery and a nice snack spot and a few minutes walk to get to the beach or the old souks. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The pool on the 4th floor was amazing. When we are back to Byblos we are definitely staying here again.

Manager was rude said I had received a refund from booking.com as he had given us a partial refund due to pool being closed which was what we booked for, told me I better sort it out , I explained I had just woken up and didn't know about this and would contact booking.com , he ssid you better sort it now not my problem! Other staff and my friend were present he was so unprofessional, I sorted the situation out but he spoke quite disrespectfully to me and also I noticed he did with staff
