great location. very clean room. very comfy bed. great refurbished building. lovey "speakeasy" bar open on the ground floor. off st parking. super friendly staff at Prince Of Wales hotel where you collect keys. good value for money.

Mens bathroom & toilet doors need fixing - most locks don't lock and doors get stuck.

The old style rooms and halls were all well presented. With lovely runners on the polished floors and curio tables the hall was a welcoming space. The aircon heated the room well and the single bed relatively comfortable. I was greeted in a friendly way and everything carefully explained.

I don’t mind shared bathrooms but this wasn’t in keeping with the care taken with the other areas. Basic doesn’t begin to describe it. Only one shower stall and one toilet had doors with both closed and locked. This seriously needs addressing. The music from the downstairs bar wasn’t over loud but was a nuisance and noise from the street came in through the closed French doors. The bathroom was the main concern though,

The stay, the venue was fine but I was charged $100, when at check-in I was told it was $97.75.
