The owners of this Motel have put time and effort to make it comfortable. It will never be a 3- or 4-Star accommodation, BUT they have made it comfortable. Kudos to them - great job!

Without a complete overhaul, which is not needed - the place gives you a comfortable bed, a clean room/bathroom and the location is excellent. Maybe the pricing was a tad high.....in my opinion.

My husband & I visited Haliburton for the first time this weekend and enjoyed our stay at Silver Maple Motel. It was clean, gorgeous lake view across the street. We loved that there was dining options walkable from our motel just up the street. We would stay here again.

Very friendly, have renovated some inside. Would stay there again

The lake and walking path was across the street. Town was walkable or 2 minute drive to a parking lot. Good restaurants nearby and Sculpture Forest was great to see. Motel was quiet and clean and excellent location for us.
