How close it’s was to the strand and an event

Location was great-very central. We appreciated being able to check out an hour later.

Very basic kitchen facilities-we weren’t even given a tea towel. No courtesy milk in fridge like in most places. The apartment is pretty basic.

Great location on the shorefront. Easy access to the local restaurants and shops. Great to walk along the shorefront each day. Great local community feel.

The unit was pretty dated and smelt like people had been smoking in it.

Location was perfect for watching and competing at the World Multisports Champs

It is quite noisy, particularly if you want to sleep with the windows open, but this is the price you pay for being able to stay on The Strand.

This is NOT 3 star. Old, 1970's feel, needing serious renovation, minimal facilities, expensive/poor value, noisy at night, not even milk provided in the ancient fridge, and over $255/night!

The property, whilst clean, appears old. The apartment is on the ground floor but the bedrooms were loft bedrooms on the second floor at the top of stairs. I have difficulty climbing stairs. The Master was noisy, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was too much light from outside. The other bedroom only had an internal window into the lounge. There was no washing up liquid or tea towel in the kitchen and no shampoo in the bathroom. There was no view from the master balcony. It was lucky that I was travelling with my son who has a phone (I don't own a mobile phone) because we arrived at 1530 and had to phone to check in.
