Baymont by Wyndham Dayton North

Very poor experience, the customer service was terrible. Called the hotel twice to ask a question. The first time they picked up and didn't answer but I could hear breathing and talking in the background. Second time they picked up again and then hung up on me. I had booked a non-smoking accommodation and as soon as I walked over the threshold of the room, I could smell smoke. There were several cigarette burns on the bed and the plate for the microwave was missing. It also looked like someone ripped the metal bars in the bathroom out of the wall. All the hand and bath towels had orange stains on them. The bathtub was dirty and had not only head hair but pubic hair as well. I was initially surprised that the hotel had not provided any shampoo or conditioner for the room but after seeing how unclean and uncared for this room was, I wasn't too fazed. In the morning, I went down for breakfast a little before 9 a.m. and it looked like many of the options hadn't been restocked. I've stayed at multiple Microtels and Days Inns, which are usually priced and tiered by Wyndham to be around the same as Baymont, but have always seen a stocked selection there. That didn't bother me near as much as the pubes in the bathtub though, that was unacceptable. It's a shame because the place has potential to be an awesome budget hotel but it seems like either the management doesn't care enough or doesn't have enough resources to properly run this place. I stayed here during a two-week trip and this accommodation was the only one in that time which I could never give five stars. Best of luck to the staff at Baymont Dayton North, and anyone who stays here for a longer trip. I'm relieved that I only had to spend one night here.

The elevator had trash it and the grounds had beer bottles all over the yard. The sink facet leaks

Upon arrival I was so tired that I didn’t even notice the shower curtain rod was ripped out of the wall and hanging by one side with screws and sharp wall anchors hanging. No shower curtain. Coffee maker was broken and there were ants in the bathroom. At check in the front desk staff were very nice. Next morning at checkout, a different woman was working. I told her the issues and she could not have cared less.

Don't swim

1st room we were given upon arrival had strong odor of mold and mildew upon entering. Upon checking the bathroom and both beds I noticed 3 black fingerprints on side of the pillow boldly showing on white sheets. Then noticed black furry mold on the back of the desk chair which clearly has not been cleaned. I took a video of the chair. As a patient with asthma and bronchitis I walked back to the lobby and told the clerk Im disabled and had to walk back down here because there was no phone in the room for me to call the front desk.She said people steal the phones,tvs, microwave and fridges all the time. I told her about the odor and that I put the chair outside the room. I asked her to call housekeeping for some Lysol or room disinfectant she said they don't have any then offered me another room which upon entering smelled better but floors hadn't been cleaned as something was sticking to the bottom of my shoe. Since both the beds were visibly ok I just went to sleep.Upon waking up the next morning I noticed something black on side of the mattress which obviously was exposed from underneath the sheets. It was BLACK MOLD! I have pictures of this also. I've booked multiple trips via Expedia and I'm DISGUSTEDLY DISAPPOINTED behind this super unpleasant experience and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Property was disgusting and non smoking room smelled of weed. Didn’t end up staying
