Uni Island - City Center Suites

The location could not be better for Heraklion. Minutes walk from city center and ALL the restaurants. 15 minutes walk to all major museums. Short walk to the free CityBus which can take you to about a 20 minute walk from Amoudara Beach, or down to the square to link up with the paid bus service all over Heraklion and Knossos. Host was extremely helpful, easy to connect with, and friendly. Washer/dryer in unit was great, all facilities great (amazing water pressure in shower!), price was perfect.

Single futon in the living room is hard and will tip over if you sleep on one side. Greeting basket contains only about a day's worth of coffee (not the biggest problem in the world). Nothing that would disqualify any recommendation.

The apartment was spacious and impeccable, with a private patio and fully equipped kitchen. It is located 5 minutes walking from Venizelou Square and close to museums, restaurants and port. Stratos, the owner, was very attentive and hospitable; he received us with a welcome basket of sundries and arranged a 3am taxi for us to the airport. All in all, excellent accommodation and host.

There was nothing we disliked. The accommodation exceeded our expectations.

The host was super helpful and nice. Excellent location, just 10-15 minutes away from the port and the restaurants. The room was spacious and very clean. There is free parking space around the suites.

The aparment was full equip, the host has a really nice detail and us some welcoming food for breakfast, as well as a bottle of raki as a present. The neighborhood was really quiet and close to the center, ideal for relax and turism. We would like to stand out the kindness of our host. We had a problem (we forgot important things in room) and he fastly managed to send it back to our next destination.

Finding a parking space may be very difficult if you have a rental car, although I think it is a problem in the whole city

What a gem! THE place to stay in Heraklion! My children are already asking to go back for another stay. The owner, Stratos, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. He even flexed to help us with my request for a 6am check in, agreeing to store our bags until our room was ready. Accommodation was spotless, recently refurbished, and centrally located. He gave us some coffee and tea, nut bars and toiletries, as well as some souvenir Raki given as a memento. Accommodation was equipped with excellent Wi-Fi, Netflix, coffee maker, washing machine and crockery. Couldn’t ask for more. We stayed in suite 6 and the owner provided a comprehensive guide to Crete, with QR codes linked to Google maps to help us navigate. Its a real find and I would strongly recommend a stay.

The apartments are in a very good location and are pretty new. Everything is very clean, modern and comfortable. You can find there everything what you want (Washing machine, hair dryer,coffe maschine, coffee, etc.). We were Warmly welcomed by the owner and he was vey supportive for the stay. I recommend you the stay here from the bottom of my heart.

Very friendly and helpful owner, rooms are big and have a lot of useful home appliances.
