Staff were delightfully courteous and helpful, especially Israel and Beatriz at the front desk, as well as the very charming breakfast ladies. The place possesses a quaint old-world charm. The restaurant offers a small but superb menu.

This was the only place during our Portugal trip where our Visa credit card was initially declined, very puzzling.

room was clean, stuff very nice and friendly, rich breakfast

the room didn`t look like nothing on the pictures. the property itself is historic, the dinning/breakfast room is beautiful. but the room is just simple average room you dont wanna spend there more time than needed. I paid for a simple room, first option offered on booking, no big deal.

Le charme d une belle restauration d un lieu chargé d histoire. Le storytelling autour des propriétaires importateurs de café . Un point de détail important : les parquets mangnifiques !

En particulier le bruite dans la chambre que nous avions louée et qui donnait sur la rue mais aussi le manque de certaines commodités comme un meuble sous le lavabo, la porte de la salle de bain qui fermait mal ou les traces de réparations entre le mur et les toilettes (ou le lavabo et le mur); bref plutôt des détails qui gâchent un ensemble de qualité .

No negative points to mention.

The room was luxurious with a comfy bed. The coffee was great and there is free drip ☕ and tea. We were gifted a bottle of the brut with chocolates and fruits The breakfast was nice.

While the subway station is not too far of a walk, I would not recommend trekking it with suit cases, as it's uphill on cobble stone. Also the station at the time we were there did not have an elevator, which meant carrying all the luggage up the stairs. Take a bolt instead. Walls are thin, so expect to hear and be heard.

Das Hotel verströmt eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre und das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Atendimento fantástico, toda a equipe foi muito atenciosa, gentil e eficiente. A limpeza também é um ponto alto, com toalhas e lençois cheirosos e todo o ambiente super limpo. A localização é ótima, próxima de transporte público e restaurantes, mas muito silenciosa e tranquila para uma boa noite de sono. O café da manhã é excelente e há café e água disponíveis todo o dia.

O banheiro adaptado dentro do quarto deixou a desejar. Portas que não fechavam direito e complicavam a questão da privacidade. Faltam armários no quarto e sob a pia e o mobiliário, apesar de bonito, não é muito funcional. Achamos bom o fato de ter um frigobar.
