Residence Inn by Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

The shower drain was clogged and started to overflow all over the bathroom. When i opened it i found a disgusting ball of hair and grime. I wonder how many months, or years, it had been since anybody cleaned it. Hotel is far from the tram station, which is not ideal during winter. Lots of noise from room above.

The heating system in the room is not working properly and the room is cold. There are no tissue papers in the bathroom. No paper towels in the kitchen.

Everything was great. Big rooms well equipped. Nice staff. Great breakfast, quite good to be honest! Beautifully decorated common areas. Great beds but on the king size ones the comforter isn't wide enough... so you get uncovered a lot. Also shower floors are very slippery and the rooms are a bit too warm and you can't bring temperature down enough in the room in winter. It is a great option at CDG. Is 5 min walk to the CDG Val people mover which gets you to CDG airport in 5 minutes and to the RER to Paris as well. Very satisfied with our stay.

Stayed at the airport on the last day of a Paris trip. This worked out well both because it is less than half the price of our Paris Hotel and very close to the terminals. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the airport shuttle train takes you to any of the terminals and the RER B train from Paris. The rooms are of very good quality with lots of room and a very nice bathroom and bed. Where this hotel falls short of the 4* and 5* Paris hotels is: 1) You can not adjust the temperature with the thermostat in the room, only fan speed. I was cold and there were no extra blankets. 2) Breakfast had a large selection of good quality food but was average to below average because of the lower quality of the baked goods; lack of fresh OJ (what they had was terrible), and fair quality of the few cooked foods available. Still a better breakfast than what you would see in a Residence Inn in the USA. Overall an excellent choice for a last night in Paris.
