Close to collectivo stand for aTulum ruins and ADO bus station.

While I dont fault the Spanish speaking staff for not understanding English, they really tested my patience even after I showed my booking details, They kept saying "No dinner reservation available ". It took 15 minutes of showing the same booking details over and over again for them to realise I was there to stay, not to eat..... Decent place overall, cleanliness of toilets could have been better, the toilet door in the dorm didn't latch or lock, meaning one has to either sing loundly or stretch a leg to keep the door shut, else anyone could just walk in...

1 bathroom and 1 shower for 10 bed dorm only cleaned once a day. WiFi only worked at reception. Dorm on third floor and no lift. Kitchen was old and dirty. Checking in and out took time because staff had to use Google translate to communicate.

The place feels neglected. Light not working at my bed. Aircon too cold and is leaking in Dorm 201 and the wall next to it shows signs of heavy mold. Health issue! Just go to Oryx Tulum.;))

As for this money I didn’t expect so much but this place was super nice. Location was amazing. 15 mins from ADO bus station. 5mins to 7-eleven and OXXO. And few minutes to the Main Street where you can find some restaurants and clubs. Also 5mins walk to collectivo stop in case you would like to see ruins (also not far to walk) go to Akumal or Playa del Carmen. At night it was really quiet, bed was really comfortable so it was possible to get some good sleep. Lockers were big enough to put a backpack in them also lock is provided. AC was working all night. Also receptionist was so nice and helpful. WiFi was good too.

There is a kitchen and a tiny pool. There is free drinking water. Hot showers. Socket by the bed. Curtains for privacy.

The weirdest rule: you need to keep the door open at all times!?? What is that? Not just unlocked but completely open! The door does not close. It feels very unsafe to sleep like that! The kitchen was very very very poorly equipped! Dirty, not well maintained and lacking most basic stuff. There are a few plates but no cups or glasses and no spoons!? The lockers are small. Not enough bathrooms. The towels need to be paid for. No place to hang clothes to dry. I hanged my wet towel in the balcony and it was stolen.

WiFi is bad in rooms.

First things first: personal items of 3 people got stolen at the pool, the staff refused to help and cameras suddenly don’t work anymore (coincidence?). Also: Bad location (20min to Colectivo for the beach or ADO-Station for other transfer), unpleasant beds and lockers too small for backpacks, the dorm’s door was broken so the door was open 24/7, WiFi only works on rooftop and at reception, really rude staff
