Scottish Inns McMinnville

Older Hotel, but very clean and quiet. My only complaint was that the breakfast was not very good and did not have much to offer. The staff and management were very nice and helpful. They do have a washer and dryer area.

I travel a lot, mostly by motorcycle, and prefer motels where you drive right up to your room door; very convenient. This was one of those places! Based on this experience, I'll definitely look for other Scottish Inns for future stays. Vicky was fun to talk with during the check-in process as was her husband at check-out. Clearly they value their guests and want to deliver excellent value and they fully succeed. Kudos guys! My room, 162, was remarkably clean, smelled good and huge! It had all the modern amenities - fridge, microwave, and giant-size LCD TV, super-fast WiFi - and a desk, table, ironing board, and super comfortable bed and linens. The air conditioner worked great on a hot humid day. I didn't see any proteins at breakfast but I usually just have a banana and coffee and they had those. There was a guest laundry facility. The only thing I didn't like was the little toilet. Like many others I suspect, I'm older, bigger, and prefer comfort height toilets.

I travel into McMinnville for work and usually stay at the Best Western (which is an ok property). However they were not available during my recent trip and it was recommended to stay at the Scottish Inn because I was told they had 'recently renovated rooms'. There was nothing recent, or renovated about the rooms. The rugs were filthy (never walked on them with my bare feet). The bathroom had chipping paint and smelled of mold. There were areas on the bathroom wall that looked like paint was likely covering mold below. The tub was dingy. There were cockroaches in my room. Good things were that the AC unit, TV, refrigerator and microwave worked fine and the manager of the property was nice. Also the water in the shower was nice and hot. The continental breakfast was fair. I was booked to stay 7 nights but decided to stay one night only and booked the Hampton Inn and Suites in Manchester about 30 mins drive away. It was extra time having to travel but worth the comfort. Honestly, this place is a dump.

Best Western was booked so we ended up here. I was skeptical because of the price (less than $50!) and some of the bad reviews on here. But our room was big, the place was clean, the guy at the desk was nice, the bed was comfortable and there was a even a couch. Not a 5 star hotel to be sure but definitely a 5 stay - way better than expected.

Owner and staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Very reasonable rates. Three restaurants are located nearby. And it is conveniently located close to the hub of the town. For the price I would definitely recommend checking this one out. I was happy to find they had laundry facility and an ice machine that always worked

The best part of this motel is the spacious rooms! That says a lot considering even pricier motels/hotels usually have very cramped rooms. The small fridge and refrigerator were a plus over and above the normal amenities for motels in this price category. Clean rooms, good service. The pluses easily overcome the age of the property.

never stayed here before. good clean room. non smoking. owner was nice and looked at a few concerns in my room which he took care of. people keep unplugging the lamps and plugging in their power cords! lol.. this is an older hotel and on the outside does not look as good as the inside room 170. very good price. quiet continental breakfast i did not partake of. free wifi.. has a small business center in the lobby. worth the price. thanks anil. :) be blessed.

There is not much for hotels and motels in this area, and the price of this place cannot be beat! The staff was very sweet and the room was extremely spacious! It's certainly not 5 star accommodations, there are some things that are in need of repairs... but I felt very comfortable staying here and would have no qualms about staying here again. There is a small fridge in the room, which is also great! I heard no noise from the road. They also have some breakfast choices in the lobby in the morning. The Inn is not far from Rock Island Park and there are many restaurants nearby too. I would recommend this place to the budget conscious traveler, that wants a comfortable, nice room in McMinnville.

I enjoyed staying here very much. The owner is very friendly and professional, the room was large, clean and well equipped. This is an older single story courtyard style motel that has been remodeled and is well kept. My single room was huge with a king bed, nice pillows, sofa, table & chairs, desk & chair, fridge, microwave, flatscreen, plenty of towels and supplies. Carpet was very clean. Outdoor area well tended with powerful washer/dryer and ice. Breakfast was the usual light pastry/cereal/coffee/juice. Cheerful owners and peaceful night- thank you!

The room was clean and had brand new locks so we felt very safe. It's older and could use some remodeling but it was a great place to stay. The fridge and microwave were very clean also. Very nice staff at front desk and a great little Mexican resteraunt within walking distance. Would stay there again in near future!!!
