"Spacious rooms"

Stayed here as a solo female traveler last month for one night. The hotel is much nicer in person than I expected and genuinely one of the largest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in and I had a regular room with two double beds. Ice machine in the hallway worked great. Ice machine in the room worked great too. TV had lots of options and bathroom was spotless. Everything was top notch. Super safe area of Springfield with lots of restaurants nearby. I would love to give this four stars but my room wasn’t ready at 4pm and then as I am going to another room that was available (no big deal), there was a male housekeeper in dirty jeans and a white t-shirt with a clipboard watching me walk to my room. It was women’s intuition or maybe just he was odd but it made me nervous (I am not a nervous person). I regret walking to my room while he stopped and watched me. It was unsettling. I further regret not going to the front desk and changing rooms. Needless to say, I could not sleep most of the night. This is VERY out of character for me. I’ve since ordered a travel door alarm and learned some lessons. Still… not sure how well they vet their housekeeping. This guy gave me the icks. I also found it strange that housekeeping was still working at 4pm but I realize this sometimes happens. Overall, I would stay here again, solo or not.
