Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield Medical District

The hotel was in a great location. Very clean and the rooms were large and accommodating. The only problem was - the bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. I literally had a back ache (which is uncommon for me) the whole next day. Please upgrade your beds and you’ll be a 5 star.

As a family of 5 we really enjoyed our stayed. It was clean, they had an indoor pool, and a nice breakfast the next day.

We arrived prior to 3:00 check in but they allowed us early check in. My wife doesn't like elevators and when i told the front desk that they found an open room on the 1st floor and transferred our registration. The next morning we went to the breakfast included and the food was good, and the staff were very friendly and made it a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and we would definitely use them again.

We stayed as a family and booked the 2 queen beds, 1 bedroom suite. There were many positives. Parking was easy and close to the entrance. The neighborhood was quiet. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was average, what you would expect. The beds slept comfortably. The shower was hot with adequate water pressure. We had a lovely view of Springfield lit up at night from our window. But the housekeeping! Terrible. In our bathroom we could see dried streaks of some fluid that had run down the walls. The glassware in the kitchenette had a cloudy film and felt grimey to the touch. We used the pull out couch and the mattress cover had a large stain in the middle of it. I did fill out the hotel survey I received after our stay and I really hope they address the housekeeping issue. It is otherwise a nice hotel in a convenient location.

Our accommodation was excellent. I will stay in this hotel again.

Great stay & staffs.

The lobby is nice. Check in easy. Third stay at this HW Suites in Springfield MO First stay spring 2024 was a king bed room and was clean and great. Second stay booked a two queen room but linen was dirty on arrival so my family was put into a different queen room. Transfer room had all sorts of issues with housekeeping including my daughter taking out the ice bucket from overhead cupboard and water pouring all over here, it hadn't been fully vacuumed, shower dirty, toenails/debris on bathroom floor. Gave hotel another chance bc I like Homewood Suites usually as a chain. Third stay, another two queen room.Shower poor cleaned, bathroom had long hairs and a fingernail on the floor and wall with stuff running down it. Entire place dusty and has grimy prints/stuff on most surfaces - not getting wiped down, shower needs scrubbed inside and out. I wiped the kitchen table area off bc there were sticky spots and the wipe came up grey. The chair at eating table was full of crumbs in cracks, sticky spots and I cleaned it off too. Bathroom grout filthy. Yellow cube ottoman grimy. Entire room needs a good detailing. Carpet was nice and feels fairly new. Dark carpet, type of lighting make issues harder to see. Don't understand why hotels don't regularly steam clean upholster The mattresses aren't great/feel cheap. Like fridge and having sitting space so I gave this location a 3rd try. Trying a different place in Springfield in a couple of weeks bc of HW cleanliness last two visits.
