Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield Medical District

I had Friday and Saturday booked. We got here at 11 Friday night. The front desk told me that my room wasn’t clean yet. It would be at least 45 minutes. We didn’t get in our room until after midnight. If my room was booked, why wouldn’t that room be clean? Especially considering check out would’ve been 11 am Friday morning. After getting in our room late, the next morning we had house keeping knocking on our door just a little after 8 am Saturday morning. They didn’t hear anyone when they knocked, and opened the door. The male ended up seeing my wife standing at the bathroom naked. Thishotel has been nothing but a joke.

Dirty dishes in cabinet, lighting in kitchen under cabinets and above stove didn’t work. Stove didn’t work either. Beds were so low to ground and uncomfortable. The large space of the room was nice and a full size fridge was a good perk.

Good hotel

This was a very clean, comfortable hotel! Staff was super helpful and friendly. Pool area was clean. Breakfast had many options and area was clean. Everything well maintained. 10/10 recommend!

The hotel was clean, well appointed and decorated. The staff was friendly. My poor rating is because the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. It was like plywood with a sheet on it. I try to be understanding when traveling because I know people prefer different mattress types so if the bed is not my style but manageable, I wouldn’t say anything. This bed, however was awful and frankly for a hotel at this price point, unacceptable. This was a mattress fit for prisoners or the motel 666. Hilton should be ashamed.

The Ast. manager that greeted me was the same friendly one that helped me get checked-in mid February of this year. This has been, now, my home away from home when I'm up visiting family. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I watched their team in the morning work very, very well together. There are dog treats at the front desk. And, there are plenty of fields around to give the pups a good walk. My only constructive feedback are the doors for the rooms. There aren't any noise damper strips on the metal frame, so it causes a loud, disruptive sound for the hall room / guests. However, I would easily recommended this hotel to family and friends!

When I just arrived and looked around the room, there’s a hand towel that looked like have been used and not folded, a small wash cloth on the floor behind the bathroom door with yellow stain in it, and the bedsheets didn’t look like been changed/ looked like someone laid on it, didn’t bother to change the bedsheet and just covered it with the comforter. That’s $160 room that been paid.

Fantastic hotel. Both room and common spaces were beautiful and comfortable, and everything was squeaky clean. Parking was easy and breakfast buffet delicious. Close to the medical district. Highly recommend.

Need to have fans in bathrooms. Great stay. Will come again.

Ease of checkout, very accommodating and very clean, 10/10 recommend! Would stay anytime!
