PORI CITY HOTEL

Very safe, great service. Location close to the Nairobi park. Also between the giraffe centre and the city centre, so you always are around 20-30min by car to the places you may want to visit :) the internet was fast and worked well in the room. I recemmend.

A little expensive

Great rooms and a very helpful staff met all of our needs.

The interior rooms with King beds have little Breeze as the windows don’t reach the outside. They let us move rooms and it was much better.

The facility is quite new and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the location as it is accessible but also quiet. The lounge is really great. Great atmosphere The food is good and the service is very fast. Great security with restricted access to the lifts

The staff were very welcoming, the food was good and the hotel was very modern.

Even though l agreed not to leave a bad review, after Nathan, the house manager pleaded with me not to, l feel l am justified in doing so. Our first night, someone attempted to enter our room, with a duplicate key. It's lucky that we had attached the safety catch, or this person would have entered our room. I immediately told the night staff of this incident and l was told that the person responsible assumed that our room was vacant, the excuse being that she was showing a potential customer our room, very late at night !!! I booked another hotel in Nairobi, deciding to leave the next morning. The next morning, Nathan asked if we had had a good night and l explained to him what had happened. He informed us that the incident was very bad. I told him that we would be checking out after breakfast and not staying the extra night. Nathan proceeded to try his best to make us stay and offered us a discount if l canceled the hotel, (which l did) for any inconvenience caused and also to have the culprit dealt with, so l reluctantly agreed to stay. Anyway, on the morning of our departure, l enquired about the discount as promised, but l was told that it was not possible, as l had booked directly with Booking.com, which as far as l was concerned, was nothing to do with me, so l had to pay full price. Nathan lied to us, in order to make us stay. Bad management as far as l am concerned, feeling conned.
